Why NewDesk is the cheapest help desk software

$299 for a year of the whole desk for the whole team. Cheapest by a category. Here is how that number is possible, what it includes, and the one thing it is not.

Why NewDesk is the cheapest help desk software

The number

Intro is $299 for a year, or $99 for a quarter if you would rather decide again in three months. That covers every agent you have, every conversation your customers start, every answer the AI gives during the beta, and every tool call your own AI makes over MCP. Premium at $499 a year gives you fifty times the marketing email. Self-Owned at $899 a year takes the meter off email and puts your name and avatar on the AI.

No per-seat price. No per-resolution price. So the comparison with other desks is not close. A ten-person team on a per-seat desk pays more in one month than a year of Intro.

How it is possible

I do not resell anyone's seats. The AI answers from your own pages, which is cheap to serve. Calls run in the browser. The mobile app is ours. I kept the product to what a support desk actually needs and did not build the stuff that exists to justify a higher tier. Nothing on the pricing page is there to push you up a plan, because there is nowhere to go except more email.

What cheapest does not mean

It does not mean a trial edition. Intro has the inbox, inbound email, WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS, voice and video calls with screen sharing, forms in chat, Stripe refunds with limits and a confirmation, the fifteen MCP tools, live visitors and broadcasts, the Design Studio and the mobile app. The three licences differ in marketing email and in whose brand the widget wears. That is it.

The one meter

Marketing email costs us to send, so it has an allowance: 10,000 a month on Intro, 500,000 on Premium, unlimited on Self-Owned under fair use, and $0.001 an email past that. Everything about talking to your customers is off the meter.

The actual point

Cheap is what gets you to try it. What keeps you is that the AI and your team answer in one thread, a human is one click away from the first message, and a customer can call you from the chat. Start the 14 days without a card and judge it on that.

Read about it, or run it on one morning of your own queue.

Point your support address at NewDesk, put the widget on your site, and judge it on what your customers ask tomorrow.
