I'll be blunt about how this industry bills you
Every help desk I have used charges per agent per month. Then, in the last two years, they all added a second line: a price per AI resolution. So you pay when you hire someone, and you pay again when the AI answers a question well enough that nobody had to. Both meters go up when you do the right thing. That is not pricing, that is a tax on getting better.
I have seen teams turn the AI off for whole categories of questions because every good answer cost them money. That is insane. I did not want to build a product that makes people do that.
So we have neither
No price per agent. No price per AI answer. Three licences, that is it. Intro is $99 a quarter or $299 a year. Premium is $169 a quarter or $499 a year. Self-Owned is $299 a quarter or $899 a year. Every one starts with 14 days free and we do not ask for a card.
Every licence is the whole desk. Unlimited agents. Unlimited conversations. Unlimited AI answers while we are in beta. Unlimited MCP tool calls if you want your own AI working the queue. Voice and video calls from the widget, the ticket inbox with email, WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS, forms in chat, the mobile app. None of it is an add-on. None of it is counted.
Run the numbers on ten people
Ten agents on a per-seat desk is thousands of dollars a year before the AI has answered anything. Put a fee on every AI resolution and a busy month turns into a bill you have to explain to your boss. On NewDesk those ten people, and the eleventh you hire next spring, are covered by one payment of $299 for the year on Intro. The AI can answer ten thousand questions in that year and the number does not move.
We are not a bit cheaper. We are cheaper by a category, and the gap gets bigger the more people you have and the better your AI gets.
The one thing we do count
Marketing email costs us real money to send, so that is the one thing with an allowance: 10,000 a month on Intro, 500,000 on Premium, unlimited on Self-Owned under fair use, then $0.001 an email past that. Abuse detection checks every send. That is the whole meter. Nothing about talking to your customers is on it.
Why I can afford to do this
The AI answers from your own website, docs and past tickets, and that is cheap to serve. A desk that answers a lot of questions is a desk that renews. I would rather eat the cost of your busiest month than sell you a product that makes you want the AI to do less.
Go check it against your own numbers. The pricing page has every line. If you want a human to do the maths with you, the contact page reaches one.
