Their pricing page today: $39, $99 and $139 per seat per month, and Fin, their AI agent, at $0.99 per resolution on top. Ten seats on the middle plan is nearly twelve thousand dollars a year before Fin answers a single question. Let Fin close two thousand conversations a month and that is another twenty-four thousand. The better it works, the more you pay. Read that twice.
I am not going to tell you Intercom is a bad product. It is a very good product with a pricing model built to grow faster than your team does.

One payment. Intro is $99 a quarter or $299 a year, Premium $169 or $499, Self-Owned $299 or $899. Unlimited agents on all three, so seat eleven costs what seat one did, which is nothing. And you get things Intercom either charges extra for or does not do: voice and video calls started inside the widget, the customer sharing their screen, forms asked one question at a time in the chat, and a mobile app with the whole inbox and the calls.
Moving takes an afternoon
